Society Rate

It is important to take note that the Society settles claims at  the Society Rate, which is currently equal to the National Health Reference Price List (NHRPL) rates. It is therefore very important that members firstly establish from their treating doctor, or specialists, such as aneasthetists, and other service providers whether they charge for their services at the NHRPL or higher rates, as some service providers may charge at higher rates which may result in co-payments by our members.

ICD-10 Compliance

Please also note that all accounts submitted to the Society without an ICD-10 code will unfortunately be rejected due to legislative requirements, so kindly ensure that accounts received from your service provider contain ICD-10 codes to ensure prompt settlement.
